RESURRECTION DIMENSION

The following excerpt from Pastor Jack Hayford's article, THE RESURRECTION DIMENSION reminds us of the hope and promise God has provided for us through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Aren't you thankful!!

". a promise of an endless life in the glory of God's presence,
.a guarantee of a present life in the glory of God's power.
Jesus is telling you and me we can move out of the limits of mere human resources for living, into the dimension of the Holy Spirit's resources for our living."

Moving into this time of Easter celebration, let's remember the great gift of life that God has given us and be bold as we lovingly share Him with those we meet.

The Journey - 3

It has been a while, no excuses...

Prayer is the first logical step in this journey. Some would argue FAITH should be that first step of understanding, but truly you already have faith. It has been given to you already.
But we shall see that all soon, because prayer is tied to faith.

Prayer is nothing more than communion with God the triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Communicating with Him is utmost in life. It is like the air we breathe. We bring our petitions, etc to Him and He exchanges it for His answers…. Life, peace, wisdom, etc. Whatever it is we need, He supplies it. Thus we are strengthened by this communion.. He wants so much to be a part of our life that He has chosen to dwell with us. That is only as we invited Him in at our point of conversion. SOZO.

But what we as Christians don’t realize initially is that when we invited Christ into our hearts as Lord and Saviour, He literally immersed us into the Godhead, filling us up with Himself. There was a blending… a melding of two minds, two lives. A joint union and a joint participation. The closest representation we have is our marriage ceremony and the consequent life thereafter.

The Journey - 2

We are continuing along this journey to follow after God, to walk in KOINONIA fellowship with our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ.

We will have to confront some of our "personal demons", our fears. We will have to unload some "baggage" before we can get our camel to fit through the gate called Narrow (Matt. 7:14). Mostly, we will only have to change our clothes (Eph. 4: 22-24).

But God is preparing us, leading us along the path called the High Way. (Is. 55:9)

Lord, God, help us to fulfill your plan for us. Show us the paths to walk in. Holy Spirit, help us please, along this journey.

The Journey - 1

Before there can be any serious study of God's Word, there must be a longing of the heart to see truth as it unfolds from the pages of the Bible. We must desire to look into the mirror of God's Word and be obedient to what we discover in the timeless words of the Holy Spirit.

If we are serious in pursuing the understanding, the elightenment, resulting from study of God's Word, then we shall find what we are searching for -- truth.

That is, truth concerning every aspect of life and our existence here on earth. It is the Holy Spirit dutY and desire to lead us into all truth. The only requirements for this journey is humility, meekness and obedience.

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS JOURNEY?

The Call

God's call upon our lives seems minimal at first, but the truth is He has invited us to participate in a whole new world of existence. A world that is foreign to us.

Although we were originally created to live in His world, Adam had secured our exile from that, by his sin in Eden. But only through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice at Calvary has the door been opened for us to once again enter into God's realm.

And it is a huge world. A universe beyond our imaginations. It is full of the very life of God Himself. There is love beyond understanding, God's very own love - unconditional and free.
There is peace, and joy. God's faithfulness fills every nook & cranny.

The angel Gabriel told Mary that with God nothing shall be impossible. And later, Jesus said that all things are possible...

And in God's world, everything is in opposition to this world...an anti-world if you please.

Victory on every level is possible here in God's realm. All that is required of us, is obedience and trust.
